MANAGEMENT
Overview
Time management is all about using
one of your most precious resources
to achieve your key goals. It means
investing time to make time, so you
can get more done, and have the freedom
to do more of the things you want.
This event
aims to:
• Make you aware of how you
spend your time each day;
• Set priorities so you know
what is important to you – and
what isn’t; and
• Develop habits that will ensure
you use your time effectively.Learning
Objectives
By the end
of the event delegates will be:
• Motivated to improve their
own time management skills;
• Able to produce realistic
plans for improving their use of time,
based on personal time logs;
• Able to identify and eliminate
time wasting habits; and
• Able to recognise the difference
between being busy and effective.
Programme
This programme is a one-day event
aimed at introducing staff to basic
time management techniques. It uses
a mix of training methods including
the use of the BBC video – “Managing
Time”. A time-log would be sent
out with the joining instructions
for use on the course.
